Compress a PNG for Web Upload
Use this when a PNG is too big to upload but needs to stay a PNG.
Steps
- Open Image Compressor.
- Add the PNG file.
- Keep PNG as the output format.
- Adjust quality or resize only if needed.
- Download the smaller PNG.
Good to know
- Lower quality and smaller dimensions give a smaller file, but go too far and the image looks worse.
- Keep PNG or WebP if the image has transparent areas.
