Questions
Is a signature added here legally valid?
This tool adds an image of your typed or drawn signature to the page, like signing a printout and scanning it. Many everyday agreements accept that kind of electronic signature, but it is not a certificate-based digital signature: it doesn't prove who signed or lock the file against changes. If a document requires a certified digital signature, or a particular signing service, use that instead. We can't give legal advice for your document.
Are my PDF and signature uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened, signed and saved by your browser on your device. Neither the document nor your signature is sent to a server.
Does the tool remember my signature?
Yes, signatures you create are saved in this browser's local storage on this device, so next time your latest one is already selected. They are not shared or uploaded. On a shared or public computer, remove them with the × next to each signature when you're done (clearing the browser's site data also removes them).
Can I sign on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger or a stylus, tap the page to place it, and drag the box to adjust it. The save button stays at the bottom of the screen.
Can I sign more than one page, or add a date?
Yes. Use Next to move between pages and click wherever the signature should go; it can be placed as many times as needed. Today's date is always available, and Other date lets you type any date. Everything you place is saved into one signed PDF.
