Questions
- Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
- Yes. Type the left, top, width, and height in pixels of the original image. The selection always stays inside the image.
- Can I crop to a square or 16:9?
- Yes. Choose 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9 to lock the selection to that shape; Free removes the lock.
- Can I adjust the selection with the keyboard?
- Yes. Focus the selection, then use the arrow keys to move it and Shift with the arrow keys to resize it. Hold Alt to move or resize in 1-pixel steps.
- What format is the cropped image saved in?
- The same format as the original (PNG, JPEG, or WebP), unless you pick another. Other formats such as GIF or BMP are saved as PNG. The file name gets "-cropped" added.
- Does cropping lower the quality?
- The cropped area keeps the original's full resolution; nothing is scaled. JPEG and WebP output are re-encoded at high quality.
