Questions
- Which cases can it convert to?
- Sentence case, Title Case, UPPERCASE, lowercase, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, aLtErNaTiNg cAsE and iNVERSE cASE. All of them update as you type.
- Can I turn a variable name like myVariableName into snake_case or kebab-case?
- Yes. Words are split at spaces, underscores, hyphens, dots, slashes and lower-to-upper case changes, so myVariableName, my_variable_name and "my variable name" all give the same identifiers.
- How does sentence case decide what to capitalize?
- It lowercases everything, then capitalizes the first letter or digit of the text and the first one after each period, question mark, exclamation mark or line break. Names and acronyms inside a sentence end up lowercase, so check those before copying.
- Does it work with accented letters and other languages?
- Yes. Case changes use your browser's Unicode rules, so letters like é, ß or Cyrillic convert correctly. Characters without case, such as emoji or Chinese, are left as they are.
