Fit a Whole Photo in a 1080 × 1080 Square Without Cropping
Use this when a square post would cut off part of a wide or tall photo and you want all of it to show.
Steps
- Add the photo.
- Turn off Keep proportions and enter 1080 for both width and height.
- Choose Pad, so the whole photo fits and the rest is filled.
- Save the square image.
Good to know
- For JPEG the borders are white; PNG and WebP get transparent borders.
- Choose Crop instead if you would rather fill the square and trim the edges evenly.
