Convert a Unix Timestamp to a Date

Use this when a log, database or API shows a time as a number like 1700000000.

Steps
  1. Paste the number into Unix timestamp.
  2. Check the unit it was read as.
  3. Read the Local, UTC or ISO 8601 date.
  4. Copy the one you need.
Good to know
  • Seconds, milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds are told apart by the number’s length, which is right for dates from 1973 to 5138.
  • Local time uses this device’s time zone.
