Crop an Image to 16:9

Use this when an image has to fill a widescreen frame without black bars or stretching.

Steps
  1. Choose the image.
  2. Choose 16:9 under Aspect ratio.
  3. Move the selection over the part you want.
  4. Save the cropped image.
Good to know
  • The ratio presets are landscape only. For a portrait shape, use Free and type the width and height.
  • Cropping does not resize. For exact pixels, such as 1280 × 720, type them into Width and Height; the image must be at least that large.
