Crop an Image to a Square
Use this when a profile photo or listing image has to be square.
Steps
- Choose the image.
- Choose 1:1 under Aspect ratio.
- Drag the square over the part you want to keep, or drag a corner to resize it.
- Save the cropped image.
Good to know
- The crop keeps the original resolution; it does not shrink the picture.
- It crops to a square, not a circle. Sites that show round avatars apply the circle themselves.
