Crop a Screenshot
Use this when a screenshot shows more than you want to share, such as tabs, notifications or other windows.
Steps
- Paste the screenshot with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, or choose the file.
- Keep Aspect ratio on Free.
- Drag a box around the part you want to keep.
- Save the cropped image.
Good to know
- A PNG screenshot stays PNG unless you choose another format, so text stays sharp.
- Cropping only cuts away the edges. It cannot blur or hide something in the middle of the image.
