Metronome for 6/8 Time
Use this when you practise a piece in 6/8 and want the bar to feel like two groups of three.
Steps
- Choose 6/8 under Time signature.
- Click beat 4 in the row of beats to accent it as well as beat 1.
- Set the tempo of the eighth-note click.
- Press Start.
Good to know
- The tempo counts every click, so in 6/8 the BPM is in eighth notes. For 60 dotted quarters a minute, set 180.
- Changing the time signature resets the accents to beat 1 only.
