US Visa Photo, 600 × 600 Pixels
Use this when a US visa form asks you to upload a digital photo and rejects the one you have.
Steps
- Choose a sharp, front-facing photo against a plain white or off-white background.
- Choose US visa (2 × 2 in, digital) under Document.
- Line up your head with the head guides and your eyes with the eye band.
- Save the digital photo, a 600 × 600 px JPEG kept to 240 kB or less.
Good to know
- This sets the size, framing and file size only. It cannot promise the photo will be accepted; the official rules linked in the tool cover expression, glasses and lighting.
- The background is not changed. A dark or busy background gets a warning, but that check only looks at brightness.
