Normalize PDF Dates
Use this when a PDF’s stored dates should be reset before you archive or send it.
Steps
- Open PDF Cleanup.
- Load the PDF that needs date cleanup.
- Turn on Normalize dates.
- Check the result summary.
- Download the updated file.
Good to know
- This removes metadata and saves a fresh copy of the PDF. It does not shrink the images inside, so the file may not get much smaller.
- Both dates are set to January 1, 1970, so they no longer show when the file was made or edited.
