Remove PDF Metadata
Use this when you want to share a PDF without its hidden author, title, and other details.
Steps
- Open PDF Cleanup.
- Load the PDF.
- Turn on Strip metadata.
- Check the result summary.
- Download the cleaned file.
Good to know
- This removes metadata and saves a fresh copy of the PDF. It does not shrink the images inside, so the file may not get much smaller.
- Removing metadata clears details like author and title. What you see on the pages does not change.
