Check Where a QR Code Link Goes
Use this when a QR code on a parking meter, flyer or email looks suspicious and you want to see the link first.
Steps
- Add a photo or screenshot of the QR code.
- Read the full address it shows.
- Check the domain is the one you expect.
- Open the link only if you trust it.
Good to know
- Nothing is opened until you choose Open link.
- This shows where the link points. It does not check whether the site is safe.
