Read a QR Code From a Screenshot
Use this when a QR code is on your screen, in an email or a PDF, and you cannot scan it with your phone.
Steps
- Take a screenshot of the QR code.
- Paste it here with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, or choose the image file.
- Read what the code contains.
- Copy it, or open it if it is a web link.
Good to know
- This reads images only; it does not use your camera.
- If no code is found, crop closer so the code and its white border fill more of the image.
