Fix Line Breaks in Text Copied From a PDF
Use this when text pasted from a PDF breaks in the middle of every sentence.
Steps
- Paste the text copied from the PDF.
- Turn on Join PDF line wraps.
- Check Changes to see which lines were joined.
- Copy the result.
Good to know
- A paragraph ends at a blank line, before a list item, or at a short line ending in punctuation. Check headings, which may get joined to the next line.
- A word split by a hyphen at a line end is joined without a space, but the hyphen is kept.
- Only spaces and line breaks change. No letters or punctuation are added or removed.
