Convert Recipe Cups to Millilitres
Use this when an American recipe measures liquids in cups or spoons and you measure in millilitres.
Steps
- Type the amount, for example 1.5 cups to mL.
- Read the answer in millilitres.
- For spoons, type 2 tbsp or 1 tsp instead.
Good to know
- Cups and spoons here are US measures (1 cup = 8 US fl oz, about 237 mL). Recipes that use a 250 mL metric cup differ a little.
- This converts volume only. A cup of flour weighs less than a cup of sugar, so it cannot give grams.
