Convert Fahrenheit to Celsius

Use this when a recipe, weather report or thermostat gives a temperature in Fahrenheit and you need Celsius.

Steps
  1. Type the temperature, for example 350°F to °C.
  2. Read the answer in Celsius.
  3. For a rise or fall in temperature rather than a reading, choose A difference.
Good to know
  • A reading and a difference convert differently: 10 °C is 50 °F, but a change of 10 °C is a change of 18 °F.
  • Typing just F or C works too, for example 72 F.
