Resize a Photo for JEE Main and NEET (10–200 KB JPG)
Use this when the JEE Main or NEET application rejects your scanned photograph for its format or file size.
Steps
- Choose a recent colour photo with your face, including the ears, filling about 80 % of it, against a white background.
- The NTA rules are already filled in: JPG, at most 200 KB.
- Press Fix it, then read the second check of the new file.
- Save the fixed photo and upload it as your scanned photograph.
Good to know
- NTA asks for 10 to 200 KB. The tool checks the 200 KB limit; the 10 KB minimum is only a problem for a very small picture.
- These rules are from the JEE (Main) 2027 and NEET (UG) 2026 information bulletins; the form also takes a live photo of you, which this does not replace. Check the bulletin for your exam and year. Passing here cannot promise the photo will be accepted.
