Check a Photo Against Upload Requirements
Use this when a form lists photo rules and you want to know whether your file meets them before you upload it.
Steps
- Choose the photo.
- Enter each rule the form gives: format, exact or maximum dimensions, shape and maximum file size.
- Read each check; every failure says what is wrong.
- If anything fails, press Fix it to make a copy that passes.
Good to know
- The checks cover the file only. A site can have rules this page cannot see, such as what the photo must show.
- The rules you enter are remembered in this browser, so the next photo is checked against the same ones.
