Decode a Percent-Encoded URL
Use this when a link or log line is full of %XX codes and you want to read it.
Steps
- Choose Decode.
- Choose Part of a URL to decode everything, or Whole URL to leave escaped / ? & = # as they are.
- Paste the encoded text.
- Copy the decoded result.
Good to know
- A + is left as it is; it is not turned into a space.
- If a % is not followed by two valid hex digits, you get an error instead of a result.
