Encode a URL Query Parameter
Use this when a value with spaces, &, = or other symbols has to go into a link’s query string.
Steps
- Choose Encode.
- Choose Part of a URL.
- Paste the value only, not the whole URL.
- Copy the encoded value into your link.
Good to know
- Part of a URL escapes every reserved character, including / ? & = and #.
- Spaces become %20, not +.
