Decode Base64 to a File
Use this when an API, export or email gives you a file as Base64 and you need the actual file.
Steps
- Choose Decode.
- Paste the Base64 string or data URL.
- Check the file type it detected.
- Save the decoded file.
Good to know
- The file type comes from the data URL, or from the first bytes for PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, PDF and ZIP. Anything else saves as a .bin file you may need to rename.
- If the decoded bytes are readable text, the text is shown instead of a download.
