Decode Base64 to Text
Use this when you have a Base64 string, for example from an email header, token or config file, and want to see what it says.
Steps
- Choose Decode.
- Paste the Base64 string.
- Read the decoded text.
- Copy it if you need it.
Good to know
- Standard and URL-safe Base64 both work, and so does a data: URL.
- If the bytes are a file rather than text, such as an image or PDF, you get a download instead of text.
- Base64 is an encoding, not encryption. Anyone can decode it.
