Resize a Photo to Under 200 KB for an Application Form
Use this when a job, exam or government form says your photo must be under 200 KB and your phone photo is several MB.
Steps
- Choose the photo.
- Press the JPG under 200 KB quick fill, or enter the format and limit the form gives.
- Add the pixel size or shape too if the form lists one.
- Press Fix it, then read the second check of the new file.
- Save the fixed photo and upload that one.
Good to know
- The photo is saved at the highest quality that fits. If quality alone is not enough, it is also scaled down, unless you entered exact dimensions.
- 1 KB is counted as 1,000 bytes, the stricter reading, so the file passes either way. Your original is not changed.
