Resize a Photo to 20–50 KB for IBPS

Use this when the IBPS application form will not move on because your photograph file is too large or not a JPG.

Steps
  1. Choose a recent passport-style colour photo of your face against a light, preferably white, background.
  2. The IBPS rules are already filled in: JPG, at most 50 KB.
  3. Press Fix it, then read the second check of the new file.
  4. Check that the saved file is at least 20 KB, then upload it.
Good to know
  • IBPS asks for 20 to 50 KB and names 200 × 230 px as the preferred size. Shrinking a photo to exactly 200 × 230 px usually leaves it under 20 KB, so this page keeps more pixels and fills the file close to 50 KB. The tool does not check the minimum, so look at the saved size.
  • These rules are from the IBPS PO/MT-XVI and Clerk (CSA-XVI) 2026 notifications. Check the notification for your recruitment, since rules can change; passing here cannot promise the photo will be accepted.
