Resize a Photo to Under 50 KB for MPSC
Use this when the MPSC profile on mpsconline.gov.in will not take your photograph because the file is too large.
Steps
- Choose a passport-size colour photo, full face, against a solid background; MPSC prefers blue, green or red.
- The MPSC rules are already filled in: JPG, at most 50 KB.
- Press Fix it, then read the second check of the new file.
- Save it, and rename it to 10 characters or fewer before you upload, for example photo.jpg.
Good to know
- MPSC also asks for a 3.5 × 4.5 cm passport-size photo with no watermark or app name on it. The tool does not set that shape, so start from a passport-size photo.
- These rules are from the instructions on the MPSC online portal. Check them before you apply, since they can change; passing here cannot promise the photo will be accepted.
